Mission & Vision

CNPP’s mission is to advocate for the use of native plants in landscaping and natural areas, the reduction of turf grass and non-native species used, and the removal of invasive species from public & private land.

 

Our goals are to use native plants to: 

• create healthier green spaces

• increase biodiversity

• strengthen the food web

• restore ecological balance 

• aid with stormwater management; and 

• combat climate change

We realize our mission and goals through environmental stewardship, encouraging environmentally-sound landscaping practices, and conducting educational programming and outreach.
